A is for Amazing, B is for Brilliant ....... Z is for Zesty
Bob and Bernard live on either side of a bridge. As they were battling for a long time, Bob decides to end this battle. He burns down the bridge from Bernard's side, so that Bernard can't use the bridge. Alas, how could he return to his own home now, without the bridge?
Well, that is only one story. Check this : How many elephants can you fit in an envelope? What happens when you throw something inside a never ending hole? What if an astronaut is afraid of heights? You will find amazing, quirky answers to these questions plus a lot.

My Comment:
First, Yaaa.....y, an ABC book that I am never going to be tired of reading. This book is a big hit with my elder son(Second grader). He read the stories by himself, sharing things, which he liked, to me. The book is excellent in many ways with the interconnection between the stories, mockery behind the narration and dry humor etc. Even higher grade school kids and grown ups too can enjoy this book.
On the other hand, I should admit that this book is different than the author's other books. Usually it is my younger son (Preschooler), who enjoys Oliver Jeffers' books. But the concepts and vocabulary of the stories in this book are slightly above his age. But he loved the pictures in the book. (Of course, who cannot adore those illustrations?)
Personally, we (I & my elder one) liked these stories : Elephants in the envelope (E&N), Ferdinand in the never ending hole (F), Story about the question (Q), Story of stolen x-ray spectacles (X) and ... (a long list) okay, we liked the book as a whole.
